About Jay
Twenty years of pastoral ministry experience has given Jay the heart, wisdom and tools to come alongside you. IFS-informed, Jay specializes in Gospel-saturated, therapeutic soul care for you, your family and your ministry teams - all your sacred spaces.
After 13 years in the marketplace, Jay planted his first church over 20 years ago. Since then he has planted two additional churches in very different contexts, all the while navigating the complexities of church staff dynamics and congregational care. With a servant’s heart and a deep desire to see fellow ministry leaders flourish in their highly demanding roles, Jay offers a unique mixture of relational compassion, Gospel rootedness and therapeutic insight.
Jay received his Masters of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a certified spiritual director through Fuller Seminary. He is also in the process of becoming a certified grief counselor. He utilizes IFS (Internal Family Systems) in his approach to soul care.
